Here are my five favorite teas at Azure Standard, do you have a favorite tea that I didn’t mention? I’d love to hear and try what you have to share!
Lemon Myrtle Tea- Grown off the east coast of Australia, Lemon Myrtle tea is enjoyed by many around the world! Enjoyed not only for the bright lemon flavor, but also for the enormous health benefits that each cup holds. In each leaf of Lemon Myrtle there is found a high concentration of citral. Citral has been reported to be anti-fungal, non acidic, and high in antioxidants. Lemon Myrtle is also clouted as having the ability to relax and provide sleep to those that find themselves anxious or sleep deprived.
Uncle Lee’s Organic Chai- Chai is often thought of as a black tea however, Uncle Lee has substituted the “black tea” for caffeine free Rooibos. Rooibus is one of the favorite herbs we use here in the Wood family. In the winter for tea and in the summer we use it as a mixture for healthy popsicles. Rooibus has a full burst of flavor that doesn’t need other flavors added to achieve it’s potential of flavor. Uncle Lee has combined some other herbs to make each cup a memorable cup of refreshment! Cinnamon, ginger, chicory, and cloves just to name a few! If you’ve not tried Uncle Lee’s Chai tea, you will definitely want to add this to your cart and brew a cup of tea for yourself.
Traditional Medicinals Organic Chamomile with Lavender- Just the conversation of Chamomile and Lavender invokes a sense of peace within me. I love the relaxing properties of each of these herbs. This is a blend that has often been used to relieve the most nervous of stomaches. The aroma is inviting and the flavor is has a lemon fruit taste. A perfect cup brewed before bed is how I prefer to enjoy this tea.
Celestial Seasonings Cranberry Apple Zinger- Do you enjoy the tart full flavor of Cranberry or the sweet juicy flavor of an apple picked fresh from the orchard? If you said, “Yes!” then you’re going to love this tea! It is the perfect combination of cranberry and apple. Full of antioxidants and helpful for urinary track infections, but did you know that research shows it is also helpful to good dental health. It is said, that the cranberry can help reduce plaque buildup thus helping to prevent Gingivitis. What a delicious way to get these health benefits!
Uncle Lee’s Cinnamon Herbal Blend- Cinnamon is one of the world’s oldest known spices. It was often more valuable than gold! Rightfully so! Preliminary research is showing it can lower blood sugar in those with type 2 diabetes. Others suggest that cinnamon helps lower cholesterol, mixed with honey can relieve arthritis pain, and many other suggested uses. My favorite property of cinnamon is the aroma. I often put cinnamon sticks on the stove in a pot of water with cloves, and orange peels. The aroma that it puts off through the house is often complimented by those that visit our home.
