Organic Potatoes- Mixed Field Run (20lbs) for ONLY $11.00!!! That’s only .55 cents per pound!  That deserves a double wow!! Where can you find quality organic potatoes for 55 cents a pound anywhere but Azure Standard? I love when this special comes around each year.

Organic Oranges- (10, 4lb bags for a total of 40lbs) $38.00!!!  You know when my children have gotten into the oranges, the aroma fills the home! Their sticky faces are a sign of satisfaction as they enjoy these juicy treats! The price is quite a treat as well. Take a look at the current price; 40lbs for only 38.00 and ORGANIC! Whoever said we can’t afford to feed our family organic, healthy, food must have never heard of Azure Standard. When I called recently they thought this collection was made up primarily of Russets, Yukon, and Red potatoes.

Fresh Organic Coconut (1 nut) $2.75 Our family finds great joy in opening up this nutty treat. I even did a blog post on it once. You can read that, HERE. These are great to eat raw or cook. If you’ve never tried a fresh, organic coconut you don’t know what you’re missing. Make sure you put it on your list of things to enjoy with your children.

Fresh Organic Apples (20lbs) 20.75 One of the top sale items at Azure Standard is undoubtedly the apples. These are the kind of treats I like to make freely available to my children. Fuji Apples are a favorite in our home.

• Organic Braeburn Apples-  Sweet with just a hint of tart. Braeburn is a very versatile apple that stores well. To store apples you want to keep them as cold as possible but not freeze them. Apples will freeze at about 28-29 degrees fahrenheit.The Braeburn apple does well being eaten fresh or baked up in your favorite pie.
• Organic Fuji Apples-  The Fuji apples were first introduced to the United States back in 1960′s. They are one of the sweetest varieties available, making them quite popular for eating. They can keep for 5-6 months when refrigerated. However, in my home they don’t last long, they are delicious!!!
• Organic Granny Smith Apples-  A crisp, tart, flavorful apple. I have memories of these apples being used for tarts, pies, and other baked treats from my grandmothers kitchen. Did you know that the Granny Smith Apple takes longer to brown, once cut, than other apples? It’s true! Because of their higher acid content they can remain looking pretty longer once cut. Our favorite use with these apples is including them in our home made granola.

I was most familiar with them for their quality apple cider vinegar (ACV) and happy to try their olive oil as well. It has a delicate flavor that is perfect for salads or even your pastas. Culinary Coconut Spread (10 ounces) $4.15 I was first introduced to this product while visiting the Azure Standard Customer Service office. It was creamy, light and delicious as I spread it over a wholesome slice of Ezekiel bread. I’m afraid it’s so good it won’t last long with my hungry crew.
